Juanderlab

It is an android app that aims to revolutionize the way Chemistry is taught by simulating a laboratory inside a mobile device. It sets a virtual environment where students could interact with laboratory equipments and materials and conduct experiments on chemical reactions. It serves as a supplement to Chemistry classroom learning and offers an alternative solution to the shortage of lab equipments and materials in schools.

Contribution

I worked on Juanderlab together with Acezon Cay and Romelio Tavas, Jr. back in 2013 as our winning entry to the Accenture Program the Future Challenge 2014. My primary involvement on the project was during the ideation, requirements gathering and analysis, and final presentation in which I wrote the pitch and orchestrated its delivery.

Tech Stack

I wasn’t involved in the software development process but this project is built on android and had used libgdx to implement the chemistry experiment simulations.
